Terms of service.

  1. All of our two-legged clients will be required to agree to Hound Haven Ltd’s terms and conditions before any services can be undertaken.

  2. All clients will need to undergo a consultation with Hound Haven Ltd so all requirements details are captured before any bookings are confirmed.

  3. The client agrees that, in admitting their dog, Hound Haven Ltd has relied on the client’s representation that their dog is in good health and has not harmed or shown aggression towards any person or dog.

  4. The client agrees to notify Hound Haven Ltd should there be any change of stature on point three.

  5. Hound Haven Ltd offers services where dogs co-mingle in groups and the client accepts that during the course of normal play their dog may sustain injuries. All dog play is monitored carefully to avoid injury, but scratches, punctures, torn ligaments or other injuries may occur despite the best supervision. It is the responsibility of the client to cover any vet bills that may be incurred.

  6. The client is responsible for the full cost of treatment of any injuries or illness that their dog receives whilst under the care of Hound Haven Ltd. Together with any associated costs e.g. call-out charges. The client authorises Hound Haven Ltd’s employees to seek such veterinary advice and/treatment as they deem necessary. Where possible this will be carried out by the client’s usual/preferred vet, but cannot be guaranteed (e.g., in case of an emergency) and the client accepts that the team at Hound Haven Ltd may, at their discretion, use any registered vet. The client agrees to pay all such costs direct to the relevant veterinary practice.

  7. Hound Haven Ltd reserve the right to refuse services if the client fails to provide adequate proof of vaccinations.

  8. The client agrees to take all necessary measures or precautions to ensure that their dog is continuously free of contagious, infectious or otherwise communicable diseases. The client further agrees to notify Hound Haven Ltd immediately of any infectious and/or contagious disease or conditions their dog has been exposed to or is affected by. Such diseases and conditions include but not limited to; Distemper, Hepatitis, Kennel cough (Bordetella), Parvovirus, Coronavirus, Lyme disease, Fleas, Infectious skin diseases and internal parasites.

  9. The client accepts that even though their dog is vaccinated against Bordetella (Kennel Cough) there is still a chance that their dog can contract Kennel Cough. Hound Haven Ltd can not be held responsible for this.

  10. It is important that your dog has not eaten up to an hour prior to the session start date. Failure to do so could cause severe distress and a potentially life-threatening condition – Bloat (Gastric Torsion).

  11. The client consents to their dog being photographed, videotaped and/or used in any media or advertising by Hound Haven Ltd without prior consent. All such media will remain the property of Hound Haven Ltd.

  12. The client agrees to provide access/keys to their dog for the agreed appointment. Failure to do so will result in a cancellation for that day and will incur full payment, as well as your pet being left unattended for a significant period of time.

  13. The client agrees that signing the key waiver form will indemnify Hound Haven Ltd in full against any liability arising from loss or damage to the property or its contents.

  14. Whilst every effort will be made to ensure your dog receives the full service, extreme weather conditions may dictate this if deemed to be dangerous to the dog or Hound Haven Ltd’s team. 

  15. Cancellations for single sessions must be made 48 hours before the day of the session. Multiple session cancellations within the same week must be made seven days prior to the start of the week in question. Failure to do this will result in full payment.

  16. After an initial trial period, all payments will be taken in full during the booking process.
